Your First Climb
What is Summit Pilates?
Summit Pilates is a modern reformer Pilates studio built around progress, consistency, and results. Our 50-minute, high-energy classes are designed to challenge you, push your limits, and leave you feeling stronger and accomplished. Every class is a climb—and the reward is knowing you earned it.
How do I purchase and book classes?
Purchase memberships and class packs and book your classes through our website or the Summit Pilates app. You can also stop by the studio, and our team will be happy to help you purchase or book in person.
What should I bring to class?
Grip socks are required for every class. We also recommend bringing a water bottle and towel! Come ready to move, work, and climb.
Any tips for my first class?
Arrive 10–15 minutes early so our team can introduce you to the reformer, walk you through the basics, and help you get comfortable before class begins. Don’t worry about knowing the movements or the machine beforehand—we’ll show you the ropes. Focus on form, listen to your body, and remember that everyone’s first climb starts somewhere.
Will I be okay if I’m new to working out or not in shape?
Absolutely. You don’t need previous Pilates experience or a certain fitness level to start at Summit. Your first few classes are about learning the reformer, getting comfortable with the movements, and finding your pace. Focus on your own climb, not the person next to you, and build from there.
Studio Information
Where is Summit Pilates located?
Summit Pilates is located at the north end of the Moxy Boulder on the corner of University Avenue and Broadway, right next to PopUp Bagels and the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority house.
Where do I park?
Complimentary valet parking is available at the Moxy Boulder for all Summit Pilates guests. Let the valet team know you’re here for Summit Pilates, and we’ll validate your valet ticket. If valet is unavailable, the Limelight Hotel directly across the street also has a parking garage.
Do you offer private classes?
Yes! We love hosting private classes and special events at Summit. From weddings and corporate mornings to organizations, teams, celebrations, and more, we can create a private Summit experience for your group. Contact our team to start planning your private class or event.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid a late cancellation. For class packs and 4, 8, or 12 Class Monthly Memberships, a late cancellation results in the loss of that class credit. No-shows also incur a $10 fee. Monthly Unlimited members receive one complimentary late cancel per billing cycle; additional late cancels are $25, and no-shows are $35.
Will I lose my spot if I am late?
Please arrive on time and ready to climb. Studio doors close 5 minutes after class begins, and late entry will not be permitted.
Do class credits expire?
Yes. Class packs and credits expire according to the expiration date provided at purchase, and unused credits do not roll over or transfer.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. Memberships may be placed on a Leave of Absence for up to 3 months per calendar year, taken in one-month increments. Requests must be submitted at least 7 days in advance, and a $15 monthly hold fee applies. Medical leaves supported by a doctor’s note are exempt from the monthly hold fee.
